What to Expect
We gather as a congregation every Sunday
morning for Worship and Sunday
School. Expect a warm greeting as
you enter. Not sure where to go next? Visit the information center
and we will be happy to answer questions, help you find a small
group, get the kids off to the nursery or Sunday School. Got a little
extra time? Grab a cup of coffee from the refreshment center and
visit with us on the way to your next destination.
And the doors aren't just open on Sunday!
Oakland is an active congregation. There are also activities that
occur throughout the week such as small group bible studies, the
knitting group, and the fellowship meal(open to all) that precedes
the children's activities on Wednesday evening. Check the calendar for the week's events and times. Church office hours are Monday-Thursday 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. and from 8:00-12:00 p.m. Friday. For pastoral care needs on Fridays, please call Bill Kidwell (547-8631)

Special Announcements |

Family Movie Night
Family Movie Night will be Friday, February 17, at 7:00 p.m. in the Children’s Wing. We will have free popcorn and juice to munch on during the movie. Kids can bring pillows, blanket or sleeping bag, if they wish. Bring your children, grandchildren and their friends. This month’s feature is Disney’s “Winnie the Pooh.”
